Crosslake Days, confirmed for Saturday, September 26, 2026, is a community event featuring local businesses and civic groups. The Outdoor Arts & Crafts Fair alone brings more than 80 vendors to the grounds of The Log Church, free for the public to attend. Other activities fill out the day.

The National Loon Center Project

None of this means the water goes still. The Whitefish Chain is fourteen connected lakes across roughly 14,000 acres, and the boating culture around it doesn't pack up when Town Square's speakers go quiet. The Whitefish Chain Yacht Club's stated mission is promoting boating and water safety for residents and visitors alike, a reminder that the chain's rhythm is governed by open water and daylight, not a concert calendar. Golf at Crosswoods Golf Course and Whitefish Golf Club runs well into fall. The Crosslake Nature Trail and the paved Paul Bunyan State Trail, which runs the stretch between Pequot Lakes and Pine River, offer a different experience in September, when the color turns and trail traffic thins.
